That's awesome! If she can do it, I can too. Kai and I really need to spend some time this summer sewing. He is always asking me to teach him how to sew.
How awesome!!! I just started my own bottled rainbows quilt this week and my kids are especially loving this project. They keep suggesting that each block becomes a different colored pillow for them -- so they could have 16 rainbow pillows. LOL It's a cute idea, but I really want to make a quilt!
Looks like fun. I first used a sewing machine when I was 5 (and burned myself with the iron too). Have fun teaching her, she will remember, I do.
