100 Quilts for Kids!

Woot woot! I can't believe it! I won something again!! :)

Kate, over at Swim, Bike, Quilt (which by the way, makes Kate like a soul mate of sorts in my opinion!) had a giveaway to kick of her 100 Quilts For Kids drive. I am so excited to participate, and will be donating these two quilts to a local charity!!

Wonky Block Baby Boy Quilt

Happy Circles Baby Girl Quilt

Anyway, when she posted the giveaway post, I was comment #1. I even thought as I was commenting, "Well, I'm first, so I won't win anything!" hahaha! I guess Mr. Random does pick #1 every now and then!! :)

I am happy to be the winner of some Katie Jump Rope scraps!!!

Kate made here Summer Series Quilt with these and I am so so so excited to make something with them!! Yea!!

  1. You can get a Woot! Woot! from me! Congrats on the scraps! I love your quilts too! I've got to get going on my donation quilt. I had planned on donating Grandma's Garden (hexie) but I haven't even picked it up in a while. I'm closer to finishing my string quilt. Maybe I'll do that one. Congrats again!

  5. Congratulations on winning! And your donation quilts are great! I recently sent off a quilt to Quilts Recover, which is a Canadian initiative to send quilts to those in need. It is great to always share some of the energy we have for quilting with others who are less fortunate.
