Anyway, my friend has three kids that she wanted to enter in this pageant thing, but she couldn't find Swiss costumes anywhere! Well, let me rephrase - she couldn't find kids Swiss costumes anywhere. Trashy adult Swiss dresses? Sure, but those just wouldn't work! hahaha!
So, she called me on Wednesday and asked if I could please please please sew some Swiss costumes for her by Friday. Well... SURE! :) I didn't have any patterns, but I had an idea of what we should do that would be cute and simple. I managed to get all three done yesterday. It was a pretty busy day... Anyway, this is the finished product:
I am so happy with how they came out! Not bad for one day of marathon sewing, huh?! :)

Those look fantastic! You really out-did yourself on those!
How fun! The kids are going to look adorable!
Lindsay! Those are so stinkin' cute! Just adorable! We live in central GA but there's a town up north called Helen, GA that looks like a little village in the Alps (not sure why). They do an Oktoberfest and everything! We actually ended up there during it one year because hubby had a conference. It was fun during the day with Thing 1 (pre-Thing 2!) but we decided not to subject her to the nightlife!
Those are SO adorable! I love them. And seriously, why are most costumes trashy anymore. I even saw a harry potter costume (or I suppose it was hermione) that was "sexy"!
You are such a lifesaver! i can't thank you enough and I am so excited to have my kids wear them! Thank you thank you thank you....
Um, SO cute! Not bad for a day's work- holy cow! I'm impressed.

Wow, all in one day?! Awesome! Those costumes are adorable. I love Switzerland and am totally jealous that you guys have Swiss Days. Chocolate, fondue, cheeses, raclette, chocolate croissants...mmmmm. :) Lucky you!
You are amazing! And what a great friend you are to do that. :)
You should start selling things like this. They look so good that I would want to buy them, and I don't even have kids, lol. Great job! They're just adorable :D
