WiP Wednesday!

Awwww, Wednesday. I didn't think that I had gotten much done this week, on account of a spectacular hike of the West Rim of Zion National Park that the hubby and I conquered. It was awesome! And very strenuous!!!! But look at what we got to see!!!

I know. It was amazing!

Anyway, as I started taking a look to compile this post, I realized - I had done quite a bit! I finished two pincushions and a curtain (see posts below), and I finished two Bottled Rainbow blocks, as well as some progress on the Hexies! Wow! That's pretty good!

On the Hexie front, I got the sashing cut, and put it on...

They are turning out SO cute!

I picked out the fabric for the Kaleidescope Quilt a long! It's cute!! Zoo Babies in Pink with light gray for the background! Yea!

But the real news is in the Bottled Rainbows... I finished two blocks. And, for those keeping track... those were the LAST two blocks!!!! Yea!!!!

Raspberry

And Orange!!

Now, actually - I've got one better... today I stitched the top together. The top is done!!! I am not posting a picture, though, as I want to reveal the finished product when it is, you know - finished! Another couple days and I'll do the grand reveal. Suffice it to say - I am tickled pink with how it came together. Really. I just love it! I can't wait to show it off!!! Stay tuned!

That's all for my WiPs this week!! Happy Sewing and be sure to check out all the amazing WiPs at Freshly Pieced!!

Oooh, yay, congrats on finishing your Bottled Rainbows top! I can't wait to see how it turns out, that's such a fun quilt. Your hike looks lovely, though I'm not too much of an outdoorsy girl, and your hexagon blocks are looking super, too. Nice Kaleidoscope stack!!

We were just in Zion's last month and it is such a wonderful place!! Great views--what an experience. Congratulations on the bottled rainbows finish. I know what you mean about not wanting to show it until it's complete. I started Friday Finishing School (FSF) on my blog, just so I have a goal for myself that at least ONCE a week, I can point to and say--"It's done."

I look forward to seeing that Hexie quilt--I'm going to go back on your blog and have fun reading.

What a spectacular hike! The hubs and I hiked 18 strenuous miles in one day in the Grand Tetons once. It was unbelievable, but practically killed us. : )

Thanks for linking up to WIP Wednesday! : )
